The charges come just months after he was charged in a stalking case.

Initial reports to 911 indicated the shooting may have been self-inflicted, but police later learned the victim may have been shot by another teenager who was also at the house.

According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, 45-year-old Randy Thomas Zimmerman was taken into custody by around 4:10 p.m. Sunday.

When police arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. Despite life-saving efforts from officers and medical crews, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers were called around 11:45 p.m. Saturday night to the 1000 block of Hudson Road after several 911 callers reported shots were fired inside the bar.

Officers from the Sherburne County Drug Task Force and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office were serving a narcotics search warrant when the man began shooting.

Police said the incident began around 2:38 a.m. when an officer reported hearing two bursts of fully automatic gunfire near 13th Avenue Southeast and 5th Street Southeast.

Police found an adult male lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Despite life-saving efforts by officers and Saint Paul Fire medics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara, police were called shortly before 7 a.m. to a report of a man down outside a building near East 26th Street and 32nd Avenue South.

Police found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Paramedics transported him to North Memorial Health in Robbinsdale for treatment.

According to a criminal complaint, 30-year-old Andrew Jordan Thompson is charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon causing substantial bodily harm.

Officers were called to the 4200 block of Regent Avenue North around 2:50 a.m. on Oct. 19 after reports of an active disturbance.
