Three people are now charged in a series of armed robberies across Ramsey County last week that included a physical assault and a police pursuit in a stolen car.

According to the sheriff’s office, Christopher Ringsrud-Knowels was behind the wheel of a vehicle that fled from a traffic stop around 60th Avenue South and 14th Street on Monday morning.

D’Andre Nicholas Bender, 33, is charged in Ramsey County with two counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of fleeing police in a motor vehicle.

Isiah Shivers is accused of leading a Brooklyn Park officer on a high-speed chase around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday after police spotted a Dodge Charger and an Acura speeding near Zane Avenue North and Oak Grove Parkway.

As officers arrived in the area, Morales fled in a stolen vehicle, striking squad cars as he exited the area. The vehicle was later found abandoned in a field west of Cedar Avenue.

Joshua Maurice Mitchell is wanted on a warrant following the May 1, 2025 incident. He faces three felony charges: criminal vehicular operation resulting in great bodily harm, fleeing police and receiving stolen property.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened just before 8 p.m. Monday, April 28, on westbound I-94 at mile marker 56 in Buse Township.

A 13-year-old girl who died after crashing a stolen van during a police pursuit in Itasca County has been identified by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

At around 1:30 a.m., a deputy with the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office spotted a driver without their headlights on, westbound on County Road 63 near County Road 271 in western Cohasset Township.

Police were called around 11:45 p.m. on April 17 to the 4000 block of 37th Avenue North, where a victim reported that the suspect had assaulted them and fled in their vehicle. The victim also reported that a handgun had been stolen from the home.

The vehicle’s owner told officers that someone had stolen her jacket—containing the key to her 2021 Honda CR-V—while she played pickleball. When she returned to the lot, the vehicle was gone.

The suspect fled at the Pembina border crossing and the pursuit ensued, quickly escalating as he crossed into Minnesota, winding through multiple counties.
