An officer spotted the vehicle leaving the area and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver did not stop and a brief pursuit followed.

The driver ultimately pulled into the emergency room entrance at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina. The man then exited the vehicle and was taken into custody. Officers shortly after found an unconscious adult woman in the back seat who had suffered a gunshot wound.
