According to a SPPD spokesperson, officers were called to the 1300 block of Westminster Street just after 8:20 a.m. on Dec. 21 for a report of shots fired.

Brandon Deshone Johnson, 27, is charged in Ramsey County with second-degree riot while armed with a dangerous weapon, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison or a $10,000 fine or both.

The incident happened just after 12:50 a.m. at an apartment building on the 700 block of Hamline Avenue in Saint Paul. Investigators say Kevin Dennis Hass, 37, of Saint Paul Park, and Ronald Darrell Vezina Jr., 49, of Saint Paul, waited inside the building’s vestibule.

Prosecutors charged a 36-year-old Brooklyn Park woman and her 35-year-old brother with second-degree murder in the killing of Michael D. Tucker.

Ralohn Lorrane Hare, 35, is charged in Ramsey County with two felony counts of criminal vehicular homicide stemming from the Nov. 2 crash near Arlington Avenue East and Prosperity Avenue.

In a decision memo dated Dec. 12, the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office concluded that Officers Matthew Foy and Eric Jaworski acted lawfully when they shot Mychel Allan Stowers, 36.

Saint Paul fire crews were dispatched around 12:44 a.m. to the 400 block of Cook Avenue East, where firefighters arrived to find heavy fire conditions on the front porch.

Multiple callers reported someone pulling copper wire from the base of streetlights, noting that lights in the area were out. Callers said two people were involved and were last seen heading eastbound on Jessamine Avenue.

According to a criminal complaint, the incident occurred on Dec. 10, 2025, at about 6:04 p.m. at an apartment complex located at 262 Birmingham Street in Saint Paul.

Deputies on routine patrol observed a black Ford Explorer traveling north with a passenger-side headlight out and extensive cracking across the front windshield. After initiating a traffic stop, deputies reported smelling raw marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

Just before 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 12, Saint Paul police were called to an apartment building on the 500 block of Broadway Street after a report that a woman had been shot.

Officers were called shortly before 11 a.m. on reports of gunfire in the area, and the man was later found near Case Avenue and Edgerton Street with a wound to his head.
