A drain worker was rescued early Wednesday morning after being trapped for at least five hours in a partially collapsed trench near a south Minneapolis street.

When officers arrived, they found a car that had crashed into the garage entrance of an apartment building. A man in his 20s was located inside the vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound to the neck.

Minneapolis officers were called around 6:34 p.m. to the area of 3rd Avenue South and 9th Street South for a report of a shooting. They located a man in his 20s slumped over in a vehicle with at least one gunshot wound.

Police were called around 11:45 p.m. on April 17 to the 4000 block of 37th Avenue North, where a victim reported that the suspect had assaulted them and fled in their vehicle. The victim also reported that a handgun had been stolen from the home.

The plea agreement requires her to testify truthfully in the case against co-defendant Vernon Archie, who is charged with second-degree murder without intent while committing a felony.

The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. at a home on the 3400 block of Third Avenue South. According to police, firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene first, followed by officers who assisted with the response.

A Saint Cloud man is accused of driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .145 when he crashed a Lincoln sedan in April 2024 on the 1900 block of 5th Street Southeast in Minneapolis.

The victim told police that her husband was under the influence of drugs and had shot her earlier that morning with an AK-47-style rifle during an argument.

The first pattern involved five robberies committed in a 15-minute span early Sunday morning, with three to four suspects involved in each case.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2011 Lincoln MKZ was parked on the southbound shoulder of Interstate 35W near Highway 280 in Ramsey County with its hazard lights activated when it was struck by the driver of a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Davant Khalil Moore, 22, is accused of participating in the November 6, 2023, shooting near North 33rd Avenue and Dupont Avenue North.

According to criminal complaints filed in Hennepin County, Kashmir McReynolds, 35, and Alvin Watkins Jr., 50, were involved in an exchange of gunfire near 36th Avenue North and Penn Avenue North on March 10.
