The complaint says officers found 74 discharged cartridge casings in various areas of the park, indicating that two groups exchanged gunfire. Witnesses reported seeing individuals shooting from a silver Toyota Camry and a black Jeep, with one driver crashing into a tree near the park entrance.
Witnesses described seeing three black males fleeing the scene on foot after the shooting. Officers later identified these individuals as Gee and two others. During the investigation, officers recovered a Glock 17 handgun from Gee’s waistband, which was loaded with 21 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
Surveillance footage from the park showed a black Nissan Rogue pulling into the parking lot, where at least four people exited and started firing guns, with glass shattering from a nearby occupied vehicle, per court documents.
