A 43-year-old man was arrested Friday morning after allegedly firing at least two gunshots outside a convenience store in West St. Paul, police say.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Speedway at 1285 S. Robert Street around 7:20 a.m. on May 29, according to a West St. Paul Police Department spokesperson.

An adult male suspect who was armed with a gun allegedly fired it at least twice outside the business before fleeing on foot, police said. Officers from surrounding agencies assisted in setting up a large perimeter and conducted a search for the suspect.
At around 8:30 a.m., the 43-year-old suspect was found inside a nearby office building and taken into custody without incident. He has not yet been formally charged.
There were no reported injuries related to the incident and investigation remains active.
