According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, emergency responders were dispatched just after 10 a.m. on May 4 to the area of Lake George Boulevard NW and Bridge Street NW.

Despite life-saving efforts at the scene, the man was pronounced dead. An adult woman was taken into custody at the scene and booked into the Anoka County Jail pending formal charges.

When a St. Francis officer first tried to make contact with the man, he ran into a nearby home and just moments later, a suspected gunshot was heard inside, authorities confirm.

Anoka County deputies responded around 11:55 a.m. after getting reports a driver had struck a motorcyclist from behind while the rider was stopped and waiting to turn. The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and died at the scene.

Shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, officers from multiple jurisdictions responded to a report of a man with a gun near the 15200 block of Snowy Owl Street NW in Ramsey.

A rescue group removed 78 more cats from the property, with several of the animals showing signs of severe neglect, including painful eye infections and untreated dental disease.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of St. Francis Boulevard Northwest and Ambassador Boulevard Northwest shortly after 7:25 a.m.

Jail staff immediately began life-saving efforts and called for emergency medical services. Allina EMS responded, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not yet been identified.

Officers found a Toyota Sienna minivan in the westbound lane facing east, with its driver, later identified as 37-year-old Zachary Scott Lee Wydella, regaining consciousness.

Anoka police, the Anoka-Champlin Fire Department and Allina EMS were dispatched just after 6:30 p.m. to the 1000 block of North Street after reports of a two-vehicle collision.

Officers responded just after 8:30 a.m. after getting a report of a person slumped over in the driver’s seat of a car. When police arrived, they found the man unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound.

According to the criminal complaint, Kendra Faye Dunblazier, 30, was employed as a work release officer at the Anoka County Workhouse for just over three months in 2024.
