According to the complaint, officers from the Minneapolis Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing at the club. Upon arrival, they found the victim on the ground with multiple stab wounds, including one to the stomach. The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. Witnesses reported that Moncada had made unwanted sexual advances toward a second victim before the altercation began.

The second victim stated that Moncada inappropriately touched her without consent, prompting the first victim to intervene. A fight ensued involving Moncada, the first victim and two other males. During the altercation, witnesses saw Moncada pull out a knife and stab the first victim multiple times. Surveillance footage captured the incident, showing Moncada stabbing the victim while he was on the ground.

After the stabbing, Moncada and the other suspects were seen leaving the club and discarding clothing items in a nearby dumpster. Officers later identified Moncada through social media, noting a distinctive tattoo on his forearm that matched images from the surveillance video.

Moncada is currently in custody. A court date has not yet been set.
