A Minneapolis man sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl after ordering an Uber to pick her up from school.

The incident occurred on February 17, 2026, at an apartment in Minneapolis.

Jhordan Alexis Pinto Verdezoto, 18, faces multiple charges including 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct for sexually assaulting the victim through the use of force, 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a victim aged 14 to 15, 5th-degree criminal sexual conduct for nonconsensual sexual contact and 4th-degree criminal sexual conduct.

According to the complaint, Pinto Verdezoto ordered an Uber to pick up the victim from Harding High School. Once at the apartment, he began touching her sexually before dragging her into a bedroom where he forcefully engaged in sexual acts. The victim attempted to resist and scream, but Pinto Verdezoto allegedly placed his hand around her throat, restricting her ability to breathe.

After about one and a half hours, he ordered another Uber to drop the victim off at her home. A court date has not yet been set.

If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison for the 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct charge.
