A Minneapolis man sent a video of himself sexually assaulting a juvenile victim to the victim’s phone and kept multiple images and videos of the abuse on the victim’s device.

Dontirrys Lamar Alexander, 28, faces three felony charges: criminal sexual conduct in the 3rd degree, dissemination of child sexual abuse material and possession of child sexual abuse material.

According to the complaint, Minneapolis police received a report on May 2, 2026, that Alexander had engaged in sexual penetration with the victim, a juvenile. The reporter told officers that Alexander had been sexually abusing the victim since November 2025.

Investigators determined Alexander was 168 months older than the victim. Officers searched the victim’s cellular device and found multiple videos and images that clearly depicted Alexander and the victim engaging in sexual conduct.

Court records state that on April 7, 2026, at 5:29 p.m., a video showing Alexander and the victim engaging in sexual penetration was sent from Alexander’s phone to the victim’s phone. The search confirmed Alexander possessed and disseminated child sexual abuse material. The complaint states the State is seeking a warrant for his arrest and bail to ensure public safety and his appearance in court.

The charges were filed Tuesday, June 9, in Hennepin County District Court.
