As officers secured the scene, they also managed a growing crowd that was leaving a nearby building where a large party had been held. Police said it was not immediately clear if the party may have been connected to the shooting.

The shooting was one of four in the area between about 10:30 p.m. Saturday and just before 3 a.m. Sunday. No arrests have been made in any of the incidents as of publication.

The first happened around 10:33 p.m. Saturday, when officers found evidence of gunfire in an alley on the 1500 block of Plymouth Avenue North. A person later arrived at North Memorial Health Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
