A Maple Grove man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl over a span of months, according to court documents.
Terrance Jervon Jackson, 36, faces two felony counts of criminal sexual conduct: first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a victim under 14 years old, which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years, and second-degree criminal sexual conduct involving contact with a victim under 14 years old, which carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison.

According to a criminal complaint, a School Resource Officer at a Maple Grove school received a report on May 26 from a concerned parent regarding allegations of sexual abuse. The parent reported overhearing their child communicating with a girl who disclosed she had been sexually assaulted by Jackson.
Investigators spoke with the victim and her mother at the family’s home. The victim confirmed the allegations and the victim’s mother provided clothing the victim was wearing at the time of the assault.

Investigators are aware that allegations of sexual abuse were made against Jackson in 2024 by a 16-year-old girl living with his family at that time, according to court documents. That victim reported being sexually abused by Jackson and reported that the current victim, then 11 years old, was also being inappropriately touched by him.
Jackson was arrested on May 28 and was being held at the Hennepin County Jail as of publication. His initial court appearance was set for May 29.
