According to the complaint, the victim reported that he and his brother were sleeping in their car when he woke up to find Arbow with his wallet. After taking cash from the wallet, Arbow allegedly threw it back and fled in a dark-colored sedan. The victim then followed Arbow to confront him about the theft.
When confronted, Arbow allegedly stopped his vehicle and retrieved a long gun from his trunk, pointing it at the victim and his brother. Both victims reported feeling threatened and feared for their lives as the gun was being aimed at them.
The victim later told law enforcement that a total of $85 in cash had been taken from his wallet during the incident.
Officers eventually located Arbow in a black Mercedes 350 sedan back at the boat launch, where they spotted a handgun in the front seat, later identified as a BB gun. A loaded Stoger P3000 pump-action shotgun was also found wrapped in a black hoodie behind the driver’s seat, court documents say.
Both Arbow and his girlfriend confirmed that he was the one who confronted the victims with the shotgun.
Arbow was arrested and is still in custody at the Hennepin County Jail. Bail was set at $100,000 and his next court appearance was set for Thursday afternoon.
If convicted, Arbow faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison on the aggravated robbery charge and seven years in prison for the assault charge.
