A Brooklyn Park man sexually abused two girls over multiple years, with the abuse beginning when one victim was as young as five years old.
Gustavo Hernandez Coria, 45, faces three counts of 2nd-degree criminal sexual conduct. The charges stem from allegations that he sexually assaulted the first victim since she was five years old and also abused the second victim, who is the first victim’s cousin.
On May 13, 2026, Brooklyn Park police began their investigation after receiving the victim report. The first victim disclosed that the abuse had been ongoing for years. During a forensic interview on May 21, 2026, the second victim confirmed that the first victim had told her about the assaults and stated that she had also been sexually assaulted by Coria. She recounted incidents of abuse occurring in their shared bedroom and during a family vacation to Wisconsin Dells.

The second victim described specific instances where Coria touched her inappropriately, including one occasion when she was nine years old and another when she was twelve years old. She reported that Coria would often touch her inappropriately whenever they were alone, including incidents where he engaged in inappropriate touching. The second victim’s mother corroborated that both victims lived with Coria from 2018 to 2023.
Coria is currently not in custody, and his whereabouts are unknown. He has an active warrant related to the first victim’s case. The state has requested a warrant to ensure public safety and secure Coria’s appearance in court. A court date has not yet been set.
