Two Saint Paul police officers and one resident were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a mixed-use apartment building Saturday morning.

Around 2:30 p.m. on May 28, officers were notified that a man had arrived at Regions Hospital with a gunshot wound to his torso. Despite efforts by hospital staff, the man was pronounced dead.

Knyaw Taw pleaded guilty last month to second-degree murder with intent for the September 10 shooting of Davion Brown in the parking lot of Maryland Tobacco, at 1375 Maryland Avenue East.
