A Richfield man has pleaded guilty to second-degree unintentional murder after a confrontation last winter.

A 17-year-old and a 19-year-old have now been charged in the February 6 shooting death of a man in Minneapolis.

The shooting happened around 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, when an ambulance crew near Abbott Northwestern Hospital was flagged down by an occupant inside a vehicle.

Officers from the 3rd Precinct were dispatched around 1:50 a.m. after a 911 caller reported finding a person down in the alley near 17th Avenue South and East Lake Street. The caller also reported hearing a gunshot about 20 minutes earlier.

A Stearns County judge has sentenced a man to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the premeditated killing of a woman in Waite Park last year.

Officers from the 5th Precinct responded just after 2:20 a.m. to multiple reports of gunfire in the 2700 block of Pillsbury Avenue South.

When officers arrived, they found a juvenile male unresponsive. Medical crews attempted lifesaving measures but declared the victim dead at the scene.

Officers were called to 103 Chancellor Manor shortly after midnight, where they found the man with a gunshot wound to the chest and no pulse. The victim was taken to HCMC in Minneapolis and was pronounced dead.

Mickiah Latrell Jackson, 39, is accused of killing a man during what investigators say started as a robbery. He was arrested six days later and is now being held on $1 million bail.

According to a delinquency petition filed in Ramsey County Juvenile Court, 17-year-old Jeremy Joe Davila is charged with second-degree murder for allegedly aiding and abetting in the death.

Burnsville police were called to a home in the 2000 block of East 117th Street just after 9:30 a.m. and found the woman inside with multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman accused of striking four pedestrians with her car in two separate Uptown hit-and-run incidents last week is now charged with second-degree murder following the death of one of the victims.
