A Minneapolis man is facing charges after a police pursuit and standoff late Tuesday night in Minnetonka.

He was arrested on suspicion of fleeing police in a motor vehicle. Authorities say blood tests are pending to determine if the man was driving while under the influence.

In addition to Minnetonka Police, the incident prompted a large response from neighboring law enforcement agencies including Golden Valley, Hopkins, Plymouth and St. Louis Park Police, as well as deputies from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and State Troopers.

The standoff concluded without injury and no shots were fired. Formal charges are expected as the investigation continues.
