3 Hurt in Saint Paul Stabbing, Suspect Arrested

Three people were injured and one man is in custody after a stabbing Thursday night in Saint Paul.
Just before 10:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to United Hospital after two people arrived in a private vehicle with stab wounds.

Officers determined the stabbing had occurred on the 1300 block of Maynard Drive, at an apartment complex.
Officers responded to the reported scene and located a third victim, who was then transported by medics to Regions Hospital. All three people were said to have non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested a man at the scene believed to be responsible for the stabbing. Officials have not released his name or age, and it’s unclear whether he knew the victims. The specific circumstances of the incident, including what may have led up to the stabbing, have not been disclosed.
Officers taped off the area and remained on scene for several hours overnight to process evidence and collect statements. The investigation remains active, and authorities have not said whether additional suspects are being sought.
