A man stabbed a woman in the leg and threatened another person with a knife, according to charges. Police responded around 10:48 p.m. Sept. 12 to a Minneapolis residence, the complaint says.
Edison Mateo Reyes Lagla, 23, of Minneapolis, is charged with felony second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon causing substantial bodily harm.
The woman told officers Reyes Lagla arrived by car, got out with a knife and punctured another person’s tire. He then stabbed her once in the leg and raised the knife toward the other person before driving away, according to the complaint.
Paramedics treated the woman and took her to a hospital. The complaint also describes earlier threats to kill the woman and harm children.
Police arrested Reyes Lagla during a traffic stop late Sept. 14, according to the complaint.
