Investigators found suspected cocaine, a syringe that tested positive for methamphetamine and a shotgun while searching a home, according to charges. The Sherburne County Drug Task Force executed a warrant around 8:32 a.m. Sept. 14 in Zimmerman.
Keven Martin Miller, 69, of Zimmerman, is charged with felony third-degree drug possession, felony fifth-degree drug possession and gross misdemeanor possession of a firearm or ammunition by an unlawful user of controlled substances.
Investigators found spoons containing white material on and inside a bedroom dresser. The complaint reports positive cocaine tests and weights of 0.31 grams and 0.11 grams.
A filled syringe on the dresser tested positive for methamphetamine, according to the complaint, which lists its weight as 11.30 grams. Investigators also found an unidentified white substance in a bathroom.
The complaint says a 12-gauge shotgun was beside the controlled substances in the bedroom and ammunition was found elsewhere in the home.
After being advised of his rights, Miller admitted using methamphetamine and cocaine, according to the complaint.
