A South Saint Paul man threatened to shoot up a Saint Paul house and told people inside, “You’re going to die tomorrow,” after being kicked out of a party, according to charges.
Keith Brian Woodson-Cox, 21, faces charges of threats of violence and attempted aggravated robbery in the first-degree.
According to the complaint, officers responded to the 1700 block of Iglehart in Saint Paul at about 1:54 a.m. on September 8, 2026, after a report of a disturbance. Officers found a group of people outside the address. When officers arrived, Woodson-Cox immediately became aggressive with them, cussing at officers and refusing to identify himself.

Two women told officers they had invited people over for a party, and Woodson-Cox arrived with some of the guests. They said he was disruptive and disrespectful, so one of them ordered him to leave. He left with others but later returned and began making threats.
According to the women, Woodson-Cox said, “You’re going to die tomorrow,” and threatened to “shoot this house up,” adding that he had “people who will shoot this house up.” Both women told police they were very frightened, especially because they knew Woodson-Cox had been involved in a previous incident in Dakota County where someone was killed with a gun and that he had a trial coming up related to that case.
A male witness also confirmed to officers that Woodson-Cox threatened to “shoot them up.” He told police he was scared by the threats.
Officers arrested Woodson-Cox at the scene. He continued to be disrespectful toward officers, cussing at them and telling them to leave. After being advised of his rights, Woodson-Cox denied anything had happened and said he did not know why he was in jail.
Court records note that Woodson-Cox is currently charged in Dakota County with attempted aggravated robbery in the first-degree. The probable cause statement in that case alleges that Woodson-Cox planned to rob another male of his gun, pulled his own firearm and demanded the other male give up his gun. The other male fired his gun, killing one person and hitting Woodson-Cox in the arm. A jury trial in that case is set for March 1, 2027. He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, September 9.
