A 34-year-old Minneapolis woman gave officers a false name before they found more than 10 grams of pink powder that tested positive for both cocaine and fentanyl, along with brass knuckles and a replica firearm in her backpack, according to charges.

Jessica Lynn Williams, 34, faces four charges: second-degree drug possession, third-degree drug possession, possession of metal knuckles or a switch blade and giving a peace officer a false name.

According to the complaint, officers encountered several people trespassing at a Minneapolis address on September 8, 2026. As officers approached, a woman tried to walk away but was stopped and asked for identification. She gave the name “Jacey Lynn Williams” and a date of birth, but officers determined that this identity was not real.

Officers arrested the woman for providing a false name. She admitted she had lied because she had an active warrant. During a search, officers found a Minnesota driver’s license identifying her as Jessica Lynn Williams and confirmed the warrant.

Officers searched the backpack Williams was wearing and found a replica firearm, brass knuckles and 10.59 grams of a pink powder. Field tests showed the powder contained both cocaine and fentanyl. The complaint states that Williams was taken into custody at the scene. The charges include two counts of drug possession for the cocaine and fentanyl, possession of a dangerous weapon and providing false identification to law enforcement.
