According to the complaint, the victim went to Arcadia Wellness Spa for a couples massage. Both were brought to a private room and undressed for the session. The victim, who did not speak English, reported that shortly after the massage began, Ji moved her left leg off the table and lifted the sheet covering her body higher than expected.

The victim told police that Ji spoke with another massage therapist in the room and they both began to laugh. The victim reached back to pull the sheet down, but Ji allegedly inappropriately touched the victim, withdrew, then touched her again. The victim stated she felt Ji’s hand make contact during the assault.

After the assault, the victim got dressed and left the spa with her companion. They drove to a nearby police department to report what had happened. Officers took the report and began investigating the allegations.

During an interview with law enforcement, Ji denied touching the victim’s private area, claiming the victim was wearing underwear during the massage. This statement conflicted with the victim’s account that she was fully nude at the time.

The charges against Ji reflect the abuse that occurred during the massage session. Court records do not mention any prior criminal history for Ji.

The complaint was filed June 16. A court date has not yet been set.
