A head-on collision on Highway 11 in Roseau County on Friday afternoon resulted in one fatality when the driver of an eastbound Ford F250 struck a westbound Kia Sorento.
Shauna Rae Dokken, 43, of Roseau, was driving the F250 and had non-life threatening injuries from the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Barbara Lee Welberg, 82, of Baudette, was driving the Kia and was pronounced dead at the scene, an incident report said.

The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. on May 29 near mile marker 79 in Spruce Township. Airbags in both vehicles deployed on impact, the Patrol said, and Welberg was wearing a seat belt.
Dokken’s seat belt usage was unknown and investigation was still underway as of publication. Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash and alcohol was not suspected for either driver.
The Roseau County Sheriff’s Office, Roseau Police Department, Roseau Fire Department and Roseau EMS responded to the crash.
