Crews arrived to find heavy smoke pouring from the garage and main floor with flames visible along the rear roofline.

Firefighters deployed multiple hose lines inside and outside the home while additional crews entered to conduct a search. During that search, responders located two adult victims in the garage. Both were removed from the home, where firefighters, Rochester police officers and Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service personnel attempted lifesaving measures. The two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
