Prosecutors have charged a Minneapolis man with murder after he allegedly admitted to shooting a man in the face outside a south side gas station this week because the victim called him the 'N-word.'
A man believed to be in his 40s was shot and killed just before midnight last night on the 1700 block of E. Lake St., Minneapolis police said. Officers found the man with a gunshot wound to the head outside the gas station and found no pulse or respirations.
Gage Allen David Anderson , 18, of Farmington, has been charged with one count of attempted 1st-degree murder (while committing a felony) in connection with the shooting on the north end of town March 19, 2021.
One person was reported to have been shot in the head and a suspect was in custody after what started as gun-pointing incident near 209th St. W. & Catalina Way in Farmington on Friday, March 19.
