A 55-year-old man faces a felony after allegedly punching an Austin firefighter in the face during a fire alarm call at an apartment building. The attack happened on the afternoon of Friday, March 6 at the Twin Towers apartment complex in Austin.
The collision happened around 2:37 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at the intersection of Highway 218 and 285th Street in Udolpho Township, south of Austin.
The man was reportedly walking with two dogs when he was hit. Austin Police say the vehicle did not stop, and the driver has not been located. Officers and paramedics responded and found the man with significant injuries.
