Officials say 63-year-old Bette Louise Nelson of Annandale was driving the Ford Fusion. Authorities say she was wearing her seat belt and it’s unknown whether alcohol was involved. She died at the scene.

The semi was driven by a 57-year-old man from Hastings. A 46-year-old man from South Saint Paul was riding in the semi as a passenger. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were brought to Saint Cloud Hospital.

Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash, according to a State Patrol incident report.

Wright County deputies, South Haven Fire and Allina EMS assisted at the scene. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the crash.
