Deputies said the man was driving a 2001 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on Fort Thunder Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2019 Toyota Tundra traveling on County Highway 125. The pickup was driven by a 33-year-old man from Pelican Rapids, who was not injured.

The sheriff’s office said the original caller and first responders began lifesaving efforts at the scene. Despite their attempts, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead.
