Investigators say the gunfire does not appear to be random. The Columbia Heights Police Department and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office are working jointly on the case.

Anyone with exterior cameras within a two-block radius of 43rd Avenue Northeast and Pierce Street Northeast is asked to check footage from between 1 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. and upload any relevant video to ACSO’s online portal.
