22-year-old Woman Killed in Richfield Apartment, Police Say

A 22-year-old woman was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head inside a Richfield apartment Tuesday morning, and authorities are investigating her death as a homicide.

Richfield police were called around 9 a.m. to 7710 Penn Avenue South after the woman failed to report to work and could not be reached.

Officers found Kayli Grace Arseth deceased inside the apartment with apparent gunshot injuries. Police noted signs of a struggle at the scene.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner confirmed Arseth died of a gunshot wound to the head. Her death was ruled a homicide.

As of Wednesday evening, no arrests had been made. Richfield police are leading the investigation and have not said whether a suspect has been identified.
