The victim said Friedrich will beat him. The victim described an incident the previous day, October 11, when he was grabbing the TV remote and Friedrich grabbed it and slammed it on his head, telling him it was a “no no.” The victim demonstrated to the officer how Friedrich slammed the remote on his head, where the injury was visible.

The victim also said Friedrich put his hands around his neck, making it difficult for him to breathe, and that this happened on the same day he was hit with the remote. An adult in the home saw Friedrich hit the victim and yelled at Friedrich to stop.

The complaint states that Friedrich had a prior conviction for domestic assault in April 2026.

The charges were filed October 13 in Jackson County District Court.
