Officers responded just after midnight after a child called 911 and pleaded, “Please help my mom.” When officers arrived, they found a large party underway. Several children, ranging in age from 13 to 3, were visibly upset, crying and shaking. Officers spoke with the adult woman, who had a large bruise on the left side of her neck. She told officers it was a hickey and denied any physical altercation, saying she and Lor had only argued.
Officers interviewed the children, who gave a different account. According to the complaint, the children reported that Lor threw the victim to the ground, punched her repeatedly and kicked her. They also said Lor pulled out a handgun and pointed it directly at the victim’s chest.
Officers arrested Lor after he exited a restroom inside the home. In a post-Miranda interview, Lor admitted to pushing the victim and said they got into a scuffle. He also told officers he hid his firearm in the bathroom.
Police obtained a search warrant for the bathroom and found a Glock 19 Gen 4 handgun under a package of toilet paper next to the toilet. The gun was loaded, with a round in the chamber and a 15-round magazine.
He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, July 15.
Lor is scheduled to appear in Ramsey County court on July 15, 2026.
