A man was shot and killed on a north Minneapolis street early Thursday morning, police said. No arrests have been made.
Officers responded to a reported shooting near North 4th Street & 31st Avenue North shortly after 1:18 a.m. on April 2 after a 911 caller reported hearing a single gunshot followed by someone yelling for help.
Officers found a man in the street with a life-threatening gunshot wound and immediately began providing medical aid. He was taken by ambulance to Hennepin Healthcare, where he later died.

The victim has not been publicly identified.
Investigators are working to determine what led to the shooting. Forensic scientists processed the scene and collected evidence.
