1 Dead, 1 Hurt in Suspected Saint Cloud Homicide

A woman is dead and a man is hospitalized in what authorities are investigating as a suspected homicide in Saint Cloud.
The incident happened around 8:20 p.m. Saturday when officers were called to a reported medical emergency on the 3100 block of 40th Avenue South.

When officers arrived, they found a 22-year-old Saint Cloud woman dead at the scene with multiple wounds. Police also found a 23-year-old Saint Cloud man nearby suffering from life-threatening injuries. Paramedics took the man to a hospital for treatment and he has not yet been identified.

Investigators say the man and woman knew each other. Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances leading up to the incident or how the injuries were inflicted.
Authorities say they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public and investigation remains active. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Saint Cloud Police or Tri-County Crime Stoppers.
