Prosecutors say he submitted the document in court proceedings tied to charges from a July 2025 crash and was made to appear as if it came from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension in an effort to challenge toxicology evidence.

The shooting happened near the intersection of Nicollet Avenue & East 26th Street, where witnesses reported seeing federal agents struggling with a man before shots were fired.

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says federal agents were pursuing a vehicle just before 7 p.m. on Jan. 14 when the driver crashed into a snowbank on the 600 block of 24th Avenue North.

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office and the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office announced they are working together to gather material that could support a potential case, including video, photos and other documentation from members of the public.

Emergency medical crews responding to the scene said the woman suffered a gunshot wound and CPR had been started. She was transported by paramedics but later died from her injuries, a DHS spokesperson confirmed.

A Minneapolis man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say he stole a vehicle, fled from officers and pointed a handgun at police during a foot chase in Saint Paul on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Saint Paul Police Department, officers were alerted when General Motors notified police that a vehicle stolen in Minneapolis was being driven toward Saint Paul on I-94.

According to a SPPD spokesperson, officers were called to the 1300 block of Westminster Street just after 8:20 a.m. on Dec. 21 for a report of shots fired.

In a decision memo dated Dec. 12, the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office concluded that Officers Matthew Foy and Eric Jaworski acted lawfully when they shot Mychel Allan Stowers, 36.

Commands were given for Rocha to exit, but officers reported that he stayed inside and moved around the front seat. One of the officers saw what appeared to be a large assault-style rifle and alerted the others.

A department spokesperson said officers were dispatched to investigate the reported dispute when the driver got out of the stopped vehicle and fired a gun, hitting the officer who initiated the stop.

Deputies were sent to the 900 block of Golf Course Road just before 9 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a man yelling in the street while carrying a large knife. When they arrived, they found Trunnell walking in the roadway with the knife in his hand.

When the suspect didn’t stop, they used a PIT maneuver to bring the vehicle to a halt. Police say the driver ignored repeated orders to get out of the car.

The charges were filed after a confrontation outside an apartment on Quinwood Lane North where the man’s former partner had called 911 fearing for her safety.

According to the sheriff’s office, the incident began around 8:56 p.m. on the 900 block of Golf Course Road after a 911 caller reported a man in the street yelling and carrying a large knife.

Police say they responded around 4:37 a.m. to the 6100 block of Quinwood Lane North where a resident reported that an adult male was outside knocking on a window.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 caller reported hearing gunfire near homes along Old Agency Drive and Onigum Road Northwest at 4:37 p.m.

The sheriff’s office said the incident started around 12:12 p.m. when a deputy on patrol saw a man at the gas pumps of the Cenex store on the 1300 block of Central Street West.

Investigators say the incident began around 11 a.m. when Saint Paul police told West Saint Paul officers they planned to arrest the suspect at a home on the 1200 block of Ottawa Avenue.
