2 Killed in Separate Minneapolis Shootings Minutes Apart
A police department spokesperson says both cases remain under investigation and no arrests have been made in relation.

Court records show Joseph Raymond Wiggins Sr., 56, is charged with one count of second-degree murder with intent for the killing of 55-year-old Amy Doverspike.
Just before 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 12, Saint Paul police were called to an apartment building on the 500 block of Broadway Street after a report that a woman had been shot.
The first shooting was reported around 9:26 p.m. Wednesday on the 2900 block of Emerson Avenue North after ShotSpotter alerts and 911 callers reported gunfire.
The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. on the 3000 block of 5th Avenue South, after officers were dispatched to the area on the report of an armed person.
The charges were filed this week after officers followed a single set of fresh shoe prints through the snow and found the suspect lying on the ground nearby.
Officers were called shortly before 11 a.m. on reports of gunfire in the area, and the man was later found near Case Avenue and Edgerton Street with a wound to his head.
39-year-old Danielle Lee Boyd was crossing the roadway when a northbound Cadillac CTS, driven by a 41-year-old man from Isle, hit her. The State Patrol says the driver was traveling northbound on Highway 47 near 400th Street.
Officers found an armed man in a backyard area between North High Street and North Lakeshore Drive who refused commands as they tried to speak with him.
A summons was filed for 21-year-old John Dean McClain following a months-long review of CyberTips and device data, according to a Hennepin County complaint filed last week.
The case adds to 26-year-old Destiny Nicole Weaver’s history of fleeing and alcohol-related arrests stretching back more than five years.
