A woman is charged with interfering with a dead body after authorities say she helped move a deceased overdose victim in the parking lot of a Bloomington hotel and then left the scene without seeking help.

According to a complaint filed Tuesday, Dior Cortez Wheeler, 32, is accused of driving a Ford Fusion that crossed into oncoming traffic near 86th Street East and Old Cedar Avenue South on the night of April 27.

A woman found badly burned and unresponsive at a shipping warehouse Tuesday morning in Saint Paul has died of her injuries and a man has been arrested in relation, police say. Police were called to the 1700 block of Wynne Ave. just before 9 a.m. for a report of “a woman on fire.” When officers arrived, they located a woman in her 40s who was unresponsive, not breathing and appeared to have been badly burned, SPPD said in a media release.
