Officers were sent Saturday, Dec. 6 to 1300 Shingle Creek Crossing and learned while they were on the way that the suspect was still on scene.

Prosecutors charged 43-year-old Lloyd Alton Booyer with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon causing substantial bodily harm and obstructing the operation of a transit vehicle through force or violence.

Officers were called to a 9th Street South apartment around noon for a domestic dispute. After separating the parties, one man became upset when told he couldn’t take his child with him and left in his vehicle.

Police arrived to find the victim lying in a pool of blood and with serious injuries to her head and face. Her clothing was soaked in blood and her glasses were shattered nearby.

According to court records, 24-year-old Ismael Vasquez Santos was convicted of two counts of first-degree assault for shooting two men at properties along 95th Avenue Northeast in Gilmanton Township.
