Boelter is being actively sought in connection with the overnight shootings at the homes of State Representative Melissa Hortman and State Senator John Hoffman.

Officers were dispatched just after midnight to the 2900 block of Colfax Avenue North, where they found both the man and child dead from gunshot wounds.

When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old male victim suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
