No Injuries After Shots Fired Into Brooklyn Park Residence

Police say no one was hurt after a residence was struck by gunfire early Sunday morning in Brooklyn Park.

Police were called around 1:17 a.m. to reports of gunshots in the 9900 block of Scott Avenue North.

When officers arrived, they determined that a specific home had been targeted and found evidence that multiple rounds had been fired into the house.

Authorities said people were inside the residence at the time of the shooting but no one was injured.

Investigators believe the suspects left the area before officers arrived and no arrests have been made. No suspect information was released and the shooting remains under investigation, the Brooklyn Park Police Department said.
