At least one person died in a crash Tuesday afternoon on Highway 15 in Brown County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Troopers responded at 1:47 p.m. to the southbound lanes of Highway 15 near 170th Street in Cottonwood Township. A 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by 75-year-old Ladonna Mae Mikkelson and occupied by 83-year-old Charles Keith Mikkelson, both from Madelia, had stopped for roadwork when it was hit from behind by a 2021 Nissan Altima.
