Man Dies After Overnight Stabbing in Minneapolis
A man died after being stabbed in Minneapolis early Saturday, and police are working to determine what led to the attack.
Officers were called just before 1 a.m. to the 700 block of East 17th Street on a report of a stabbing.

When they arrived, they found the victim with a life-threatening stab wound. Medical crews attempted lifesaving measures, but the man died at the scene. His name and cause of death will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
Investigators say the suspect ran from the area before officers arrived. Several witnesses were interviewed, and police documented the scene with the help of crime lab personnel. The area was taped off for hours as homicide investigators processed evidence and canvassed the neighborhood.

Police have not said whether they recovered a weapon or what may have led to the stabbing. No arrests have been made as of Saturday afternoon.
