After asking him to leave, he pulled out a gun, waved it around and threatened to shoot the employees if they did not come out of the break room. The victim expressed fear for her safety and noted that children were present in the store during the incident.
The victim, another employee, reported that he and a colleague, the victim, also asked Booker to leave. When they did, he pointed the gun at them, making them feel threatened. The victim corroborated the victim’s account, stating that Booker aimed the gun at him as well. After the robbery, Booker stole two “Lunchables” from the store.
Officers began searching for Booker and found him at 30th and Penn Avenue North. He was identified by his distinctive scar that runs from his forehead to his right eyebrow, which matched the description provided by the victims. Surveillance footage from the store also confirmed his identity and appearance during the robbery.
Booker is currently in custody. A court date has not yet been set.
