A Chaska man sexually assaulted a woman in Winkel Park as witnesses looked on.
The incident occurred on June 3, 2026, when police responded to a report of a sexual assault.
Jordan Lamar Beck, 39, of Chaska, faces charges of 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct involving penetration and 5th-degree assault for inflicting or attempting to inflict bodily harm.

According to the complaint, multiple witnesses reported seeing Beck with the victim on Highway 41. One witness observed Beck hitting the victim on the head while she was on the ground. Another witness saw him forcibly grab the victim and make her walk with him. When officers arrived, they found Beck walking with the victim, who was in distress and crying, with visible injuries including abrasions and fresh blood.
The victim had met Beck earlier that day at a Walgreens store while trying to resolve an issue with her cell phone. After he offered to buy her alcohol, they went to Winkel Park, where the victim stated Beck assaulted her. She described feeling terrified and thought he was going to kill her as he touched her inappropriately and sexually assaulted her. The victim pleaded with Beck not to kill her during the assault.
Beck denied any physical or verbal altercation with the victim. He is currently in custody. A court date has not yet been set.
If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison for the 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct charge.
