Troopers said the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit a barrier on the ramp. The rider was thrown from the bike, went off the overpass, and landed on the right shoulder of eastbound I-94.
The motorcycle, a 2009 Kawasaki EX650, came to rest on the ramp while the rider, identified as Easton Macoy Kleven, was found on the interstate shoulder. Minneapolis Fire Department crews and Hennepin Healthcare paramedics responded and Kleven was taken to HCMC, where he was pronounced dead.
