Fridley Man Accused of Shooting at Friend Over $100 Debt
A suspect allegedly pulled up to an acquaintance's driveway in Fridley, demanded $100 and then fired rounds into the man's minivan as he tried to drive away. Darien Leray Mansell , 23, of Fridley, faces felony charges of attempted second-degree murder, second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, first-degree aggravated robbery and drive-by shooting toward an occupied motor vehicle.

Inmate Dies After Collapsing at Anoka County Jail
Jail staff immediately began life-saving efforts and called for emergency medical services. Allina EMS responded, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not yet been identified.
