According to scanner traffic, emergency crews arrived and found a vehicle in the middle of the intersection with a bullet hole in it, and a woman inside bleeding from the neck.

Read MoreOn December 23, 2021, at approximately 7 p.m., a deputy with the Wright County Sheriff’s Office was responding to a medical for a person that had possibly fallen down outside. According to a media release, the deputy arrived on the scene and did not see the victim on the ground in the un-lit driveway. The deputy pulled in and made contact with the victim at slow speed and rendered medical assistance before the victim was transported to Maple Grove Hospital, where he died a short time later.
