The gunshots were reportedly fired on the 8500 block of 2nd Ave. S., with a vehicle seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed to the south.
Officers gave pursuit, southbound into Eagan on Hwy. 77.

A Burnsville man died Tuesday night after losing control of his motorcycle on southbound Interstate 35E in Eagan.
A 60-year-old Eagan man is accused of firing a handgun inside his bedroom and telling his partner she was lucky he didn't shoot her.
Investigators later determined the threats originated from out of state and were not credible . The Eagan Police Department said it became aware of the voicemails early Tuesday morning.
